AND NOW FOR THE SIPPING FORECAST

Issued by Taylors of Harrogate on behalf of those with a thirst for something new.

At Sipping Forecast, we’re setting course to bring you delicious coffee and innovative products, while having a bit of fun along the way. Here's what we've been finding interesting recently...

MILK NERDERY WITH NICOLA P

Milk Freeze Distilling

Top Alt Milk: Oatly Barista – if you don’t like milk from cows, this one has the best flavour and texture from oats.

Top Cows Milk: Yeo Valley Organic. I like to think the organic-ness elevates the milk, making it taste better.

Top Milk Hack: Freeze distilled milk. To try this, freeze a small bottle of milk, then place it upside down over a jug in the fridge for 12 hours. You’ll get a more protein- and fat-concentrated milk with a decadent texture.

JENNY'S OUTDOOR INNOVATIONS PART 2

MOGO

Hiking, a chilly swim, and generally being outdoors are my top re-setters at the weekend. In Yorkshire, we’re spoiled with amazing scenery, so I spend time midweek searching for gear or events. Recently, I found Arc’teryx's MO/GO™, the world’s first pair of powered pants, designed to increase stamina and reduce pain, helping people move more easily despite aging, fatigue, or injury.

THE CURIOUS GERMAN IN GLASGOW

Seb Mars Bar

I recently had an unforgettable culinary experience in Glasgow. At an independent chippy, I saw a ‘Deep Fried Mars Bar’ on the menu. I was intrigued, and I’m so glad I tried it!

The inside of the Mars Bar was warm and melted, with a savory crunch on the outside. If you’re ever in Glasgow, I highly recommend giving it a try. Next time, I might try the deep-fried pizza!

SPROUT BHAJI COMETH WITH WILL WB

Sprout Bhaji

We’re not going to talk about Christmas (yet), but we ARE going to talk about Sprout Bhajis at Bundobust. I don’t usually like Brussels sprouts, but I love Bundobust! They’re a small indie chain that serves the most amazing Gujarati Indian street food.

Every year, I excitedly tell my colleagues that Sprout Bhajis are back! Even though I don’t like Brussels sprouts, I absolutely love a Sprout Bhaji.

Cheers! – from Sipping Forecast
